Nutritional Therapy Clinic - Who we are

The Nutrition Clinics at ION are run by a dedicated team of experienced practitioners.

Amanda Moore, BSc (Hons) Dip ION MBANT - Female Health Specialist, Clinic Director.
Amanda Moore qualified as a nutritional therapist with ION in 2001. She is ION’s longest resident therapist. Her main areas of specialism are female hormone disruption, pregnancy and post-natal health. Besides practising at ION Amanda also runs seminars for women on female health and nutrition, writes for magazines and journals and acts as a consultant for a number of businesses.

Sally Child SRN, HV, Dip ION, MBANT, Fellow ION - Children’s Health Specialist.
Sally Child Sally is a qualified nurse and worked as a health visitor for several years.To consolidate her interest in nutrition she completed a 3 year diploma course at the renowned Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London (I.O.N.) She lectures on babies and children and on weight control and eating disorders to nutrition students on various courses in London, gives talks to voluntary and charity organisations and has written for various journals and newsletters.

She leads workshops in schools, colleges and the workplace on healthy eating in line with the latest government initiatives. Sally has also written two books -‘An A-Z of Children’s Health, a nutritional approach’ and ‘The Art of Hiding Vegetables’

ION Nutritional Therapists
In the general clinic Amanda and Sally maybe joined by other ION trained therapists. All are members of the British Association of Nutritional Therapists.
