At ION we provide training for those wishing to become a qualified nutritional therapist. As part of the Institutes' Nutritional Therapy Diploma Course, our students have to undergo a number of clinical practice consultations before they can complete the course and become fully qualified to practice.
In order to meet this requirement ION also operates a Teaching Clinic that runs on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays during the academic year
How does a student consultation differ from a consultation with a qualifed therapist?
The Teaching Clinic is conducted in the same environment as a professional consultation and is observed by a tutor who is also a fully qualified Nutritional Therapy practitioner. There is a camera link to other observing students in an adjacent room.
Consultations at the Teaching Clinic are available to members of the public and are at a reduced price. Continuing with our low-cost ethos, if supplements or laboratory tests are suggested or recommended as part of your consultation, you will be able to purchase supplements at a discounted price from a local retail outlet, should you wish to do so. Similarly, any laboratory tests will be charged for at the cost price.
